just figured i’d post something and hope someone jumped on board. 

I’m leavin for vegas in 8 days.  Stayin at caesars.  Can’t wait to hit the tables!!  I’m normally a 10 dollar table type of guy, but this trip i’m probably increasing my average bet a little.  Something like 66 or 110 inside instead of 44 inside.  I found that it takes so many hits to start profiting good when your betting 44 inside or even just a 12 dollar 6 and 8.  I’ve done that for way too long.  I guess i’m hoping to finally catch a big win.  I know how to press its just a matter of catching a hot roll and sticking with it.  I’m realistic though, lets hope my greed doesn’t get the best of me and bust my bankroll the first night.  Anyways, lets keep this forum alive!!!

Well….no luck at the craps tables on this trip…horrible dice, i never had a number higher than a 50 dollar 4 and a 42 dollar 8.  But i did hit a 50 dollar 5 team parlay with the spread.  Payed 1100…  Bears, san diego, saints, giants, and packers…

I was never a hard way better at all.  My strategy is to normally just make place bets and cover the inside.  I recently started betting a dollar on the hard 4 and another on the hard 10.  We know that if a 4 or 10 is thrown, that mathematically their is a better chance of it being hard as apposed to a 6 or 8.  With that being said, i figured since i dont place those numbers, that i would bet the hard ways just encase its thrown, maybe i would get payed out.  What i started doing is, once a 4 or 10 is thrown hard, i would parlay the bet, leaving 8 dollars on either the 4 hard or the 10 hard.  If its thrown hard again, i would get payed out and i would take the my profits and leave the 8 dollars up.  This actually has payed off pretty good the last couple times i tried it.  A conservative way, would be to take the initial two dollar investment back once it hits the first time.  I never make any prop bets unless its an any crap to hedge my pass line when im shooting.  However, this actually worked good for me lately. I figure two dollars is a small investment.  It can add up if you keep putting the bets back up once they are they are thrown soft though.  If anyone has any thoughts please share.

Have you been to Bill’s on the strip? Used to be The Barbary Coast. It’s got 2 tables. I played the one near the bar. Anyway it has a fire bet available.Not to many of the casinos out there have one. I hit once on the fire bet. Guy next to me won 125.oo on $5 I only had a buck on it. When It was my turn to shoot I almost hit it. I just needed one more number. This is probably not a good response to your post,but anyway they have some good shooters there at Bill’s.It’s cozy with that downtown feeling.
