This strategy is for a $15 minimum table. Wait for a point to be established; then place the 4,6,8 and 10 at $66 ($15 on 4&10, $18 on 6&8). When any of these numbers hit; you press the 6&8 to $30 each. After this you collect every green chip when any of these numbers hit. When you get red chips from the 6&8, or have at least 5 white chips you play different hardways at $5 a bet. When you have all the hard ways covered and you win additional red chips; bump up the hard ways bets by another $5 each bet. When betting on the hardways start with the hard 4 & 10 as then work on hard 6&8. If a hard number rolls collect the green chips and use the remaining chips to bump the hard ways up.

This is bound to work like a charm, if you're hitting your numbers. A run of early 7s can get expensive pretty quick. What is is your buy-in stake, and at what point do you run with the money? I see the village echeneidae found you. :D

My buy in would be around $500-600 depending on how much I’ve saved for my 401g. I’d wait approximately 5 rolls before making this kind of bet just to avoid the early 7’s. I play through my bankroll once then I’m done; any winnings I get I do not gamble away.

Unless you believe a 7 is less likely to appear on roll 6-7-8 as opposed to roll 1-2-3....you can make this bet from the first roll.

I would only use this strategy on controlled shooters as opposed to random rollers.

OK, so, you've got about 8-9 shots at them, that's a decent chance. Waiting five rolls provides no "physical" advantage, but is, at worst, a neutral move, so if it provides something psychological, then yeah, do it. It'll tie-up your spot at the table, for a longer period, thereby depriving the casino of at least some revenue, so yeah, DO IT. All of your strategies, are at worst "neutral", so you're good to go, I. My "book".

This is also a good strategy, to deprive the casino of money, through, non-betting, I'm all for it. :)

    This is Barney G KY

The LID likes such a strategy but would only initiate such on bonifide DIs (those that wear DI Skunkhat).

If that’s the case then just do 1-2 come bets on them with odds; then ride them out.

I wouldn’t bet on all of them; just the ones who lasted 5 rolls. Even then I most likely would do just 1 come bet with single odds at most. When I said odds in my previous post I meant single odds.

I dislike the odds bet. If you are on a point, you now have a 54.54%,(6-8), 60% (5-9), or 66.66% (4-10), of losing, why throw gas on the fire? The single odds bet in no way gives you any better chance to win, and doubles your loss on a 7-out. Though one can argue the virtues of this bet, I do not like it. The casino does much to encourage you to make this bet, even though in theory, they stand to make no money on it long-run, why? I think that is a pretty good indication, that it is NOT to your benefit, to make the odds bet, and I don't give a shit, what TD, or any of the other "shills", thinks about it. I could show you a "better" place to play that same money, that gives you a substantially better chance of surviving the same hand with a winner, and no chance of losing any more on a loser. But, I won't. It's "intellectual property" LOL.

Most players are woefully under bankrolled for the bets they make. Normal variance will usually bust out the small buyin player who is hopefully quickly replaced by another small buy in player in the casinos eyes. When the table does have a long roll only those at the table have a chance to take advantage of it and often those players are losing money in the field when the 6's and 8's are hitting one after another. The guy who busted out on the 4 PSO's two hours ago doesn't get a chance to recoup their money.

That is how the casino makes money on the odds bet.

Managing your bankroll and betting within it is THE most important aspect of the game.

I would bet....if the casino paid true odds....they still would make money........under-capitalized...poor money management....greed....poor knowledge of the game....is more than enough to compensate for no edge.
