my guess would be that they would have to wait for another player to come up to the table and make a line bet and start roll-in them bones

Closest I ever came to this was one time at Bally's the shooter who was to my right picked up his pass line bet and disappeared into the crowd with no one noticing.

They passed the dice to me and I finished his roll a then it was my turn again.

On the Azure machines, If the shooter takes down their DP bet with a point established, the machine assumes control and shoots the dice as soon as the timer runs out until the current point is resolved. I haven't seen it happen for a couple years so they may have changed the programming by now.

this really is a question without a black and white answer...there is no universally accepted official craps rule book.......each casino makes it's own rules on the rules of the game.....just like blackjack.....some casinos you can split 10's. some you can't.........in this case, the box would decide what to do......could be....give him back his chip.....put it on the PL......tell him he will have to wait for another shooter..........

    BS 777, no, I mean bullshit 777.

Mss (and possibly I) answered correctly. Obviously, whoever is "next" shoots next, UNLESS:

    (1) Miss Snowflake is at the table (in winter attire) in which case, she NEVER stops shooting (know what I mean)?

    (2) The LID (or possibly the UCDT) is/are in town, in which case there is NEVER a next shooter, for obvious reasons.

Noye: Unless, for some strange fucking reason, simply BECAUSE he is SO good (so gut) , the UCDT arbitrarily chooses to shoot out of the V6 instead of the 2V (polar opposites and all).

Noye and edit the above post:

It goes without saying that, concerning "accepting payment" for s0-called winners on the line, the LID will only on rare occasion rack the chips pushed at him when his result was obtained off-axis, and

it goes beyond saying that the UCDT NEVER refuses such payment.

Concerning the "why" for the LID.

Well, according to Barney (I think, but it may have been bobdfarmer (but was definitely NOT Svetlana, [who is a spy]), on occasion, the LID visit's the Bing. When Syl knows he's coming, he (Sylvio) is NOT in.

The LID has a tendency to beat the shit out of Georgie (I think that's his name), stealing the $50 he (Georgie) got from Tracee (or from whoever {or is that whomever?}, and more importantly, also stealing the blowjob that Georgie has coming (Literally {I think}) from one of the girls that he (Georgie) enabled to "get into" the important affair going down.

Noye: There might be a lot going down there (but I'm only guessing there)

    That is all (I';m pretty sure [but not certain]}

    What’s the word? THUNDERBIRD!
    What’s the price? THIRTY TWICE!

That was a jingle from the early 60’s. I think that the price of a pint was 60 cents (30 x 2).

WTF MI? No one else here (or there) is THAT old, except definitely (nifty double accentuation, don't you agree?], the LID, possibly (no need to point out the same thing here, I think) } TDB, Eustace, bobdfarmer, Festus, 777, Dr. Phillips, the Baron (?), Irish, Grizzoola (forgot him at 2nd {no who or possibly what is on 2nd), [I meant }], (comma), I s this still clear to you MI because I'm not yet done?

now where was I............. oh yes, still at possibly.... (possibly),,,Irish xxxxx already mentioned that SOB xxx (no sense insulting his dear mother so let's call him a dummy or perhaps a whistle-dick for now. No, let's stick with dummy.

Although since he believes the same thing that TDB does about the s0-called GTC on-axis count, maybe he does classify as either or.

OK, I guess that's all of the possibly's, and finally the doubtfuls, such as yaya, Svetlana, and that guy from MI 6 that the Baron keeps bothering, trying to learn something about a secret dice method that is of course either so-called or s0-called.

Noye: NA is NOT to be listed, because he is site photographer.

Noye 2: IF someone from Wales posts a pic in this thread, look at it only if you have lived a complete and happy life, leaving you with nothing to live for

Noye 3: If someone from down under does the same, then, For optimal visual effect, enlarge it before shifting downward and to the right.

I am 70. As a kid, the dozen or so guys that I ran with, hung around the local drug store. In the same strip center, there was a seafood takeout store with a liquor license. They sold Thunderbird for .79 a fifth (I think).

T-Bird was the most popular “bum wine” and the only brand of that group sold in my completely white neighborhood. I remember the Thunderbird commercials from radio and TV. We listened to a lot of soul music and soul stations although I did not know a single black kid until I entered high school. There were 3 black kids among my 1969 graduating class of 160. Zero among the 300 or so in my Catholic elementary school.

Again, this was in the 1966-1969 timeframe. We were starting to drink because we were cool. It started with Country Club Malt Liquor, wine and beer.

I didn’t care for the taste of ‘Bird but, ironically the only wine that I drink today is Mogen David Concord Grape. All of the other wines are too dry or sour for my cheap-shit palate.

Thunderbird? Eck! You totally missed out Man. At that time, the “Top Tier” in wines, was Boone’s Farm, and MD 20/20 (mad-dog). Even the “Answer Grape” preffered these fine products, even though he worked for Taylor. “Indeed!”

Boone’s Farm came out later, early 70’s. Very popular with the chicks. Ripple shortly thereafter. Fred Sanford hyped that big time. Answer Grape likewise.

    Thunderbird was established before those.

Does that put your age a few years younger than me?

I might be younger, or maybe just, not as cool. When I was drinking underage, my favorite beverage was IRON CITY BEER, in the quart bottle. Can’t remember the price. I didn’t get into the sophisticated and glamorous stuff like “mad dog” and “strawberry hill” until I was legal, which was 18 for beer and wine where I lived. :)

    Rock gut.

    Price?

Baron, when you steal shit, it generally costs you nothing, eh?

Something that should begin with an A, but not remembering it, Noye: Even munliv does not like Iron City, but he might like the baron's post.

Thanks NA, BUT, dont [ shit, don't needs an apostrophe (I think) ] start any of that closet DI shit on us.

Why not you ask ? (I'm almost sure), ------> well now that I mention it, this (being almost sure) might also apply to Hank Kimball {shit, if the people down under do not know Green Acres, that comment will not work very well).

Because most closet's think that dice stay on-axis about 44.4% of the time, as do some (but not all) DI's.

It is most likely 'the' (or 'a' (if there's only one of them)) so-called DI (sc for short, ;)) who will tell you, NO the 44% is bull-shit, it's actually 2.78%, or thereabout.
