On the one hand, to be effective with its policies, the party needs a majority in both houses of Congress along with the presidency.
However, if too many of these people are R(h)ino's, the other side will have more influence in policy-making than they deserve, because the rino's always give more than they receive.
Even when in the minority, the Dems always manage to weasel their way into position. When they have the majority, they crack the whip and ignore opinions counter to their leftist agenda.
They understand perfectly that winning elections trumps (interesting word for a Dem) everything else, and do anything they can to bring this about.
This is of the most serious concern with the presidency, where they will do all in their power to (1) ensure that anyone (non-citizens) can vote and even vote by mail and (2) change the election decision from an electoral majority to a "true" democracy, where the most votes wins.
For "serious" (potentially majority changing) Senate elections, mega $ will be pumped into the campaign, although both sides do this.
House elections are more frequent and more numerous, and because they are significantly more localized than senate and presidential elections, it will be much more difficult to manipulate them.
The worst amendment this country's leftists ever made was in changing the appointment of senators by state governors to a popular election.
I never understood how much Republicans suck until Trump exposed them all.
It will never be the same.
I notified the county board of elections that I wanted to rescind my votes for Romney, McCain, and 2 votes for GW Bush. Not sure where that request stands.
Trump changed everything, but many won't admit it or act accordingly.
I'm not certain that Trump will run again. But he will have a big say in who will be the Republican nominee in 2024.
I really like Republican's chances of taking control of the House in 2022. It won't be an ideal bunch of reps, but it will help to neutralize, or at least slow the progressive/socialist agenda of Beijing Biden.
I believe G*d is still watching over us; please have mercy on us.
Congressswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene has become a lightning rod for Democratic Party criticism. Greene has been involved in an ongoing feud with Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, so much so that her berating of AOC has prompted Speaker Pelosi to launch an “investigation” into Greene’s actions for purported ethics violations.
On Wednesday, the feud renewed when Greene and AOC were leaving the House chamber. Greene reportedly yelled “Hey, Alexandria!” twice. Greene chased down Ocasio-Cortez and launched into a tirade about the “radical socialist” and her support for Antifa, a violent extremist group that Greene called “terrorists.”
“You don’t care about the American people,” Greene shouted. “Why do you support terrorists and antifa?”
While AOC did not immediately respond, she did provide a statement through her spokesperson Lauren Hitt.
“Representative Greene tried to begin an argument with Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez and when Rep. Ocasio-Cortez tried to walk away, Congresswoman Greene began screaming and called Rep. Ocasio-Cortez a terrorist sympathizer.”
“We hope leadership and the Sergeant at Arms will take real steps to make Congress a safe, civil place for all Members and staff — especially as many offices are discussing reopening. One Member has already been forced to relocate her office due to Congresswoman Greene’s attacks.”
Speaker Pelosi even weighed in on the kerfuffle with her own announcement.
“This is beneath the dignity of a person serving in the Congress of the United States and is a cause for trauma and fear among members,” Pelosi said, “especially on the heels of an insurrection, on which the minority in the committee yesterday denied ever happened.”
Pelosi should know herself that AOC isn’t exactly the model of civility when it comes to Congressional behavior.
Republicans will run away for m a fight
It is not that republicans run away from a fight, it is that they cant get down in the gutter
and fight to end on any issue because you always have one or two senators that are afraid
of what they look like. You can never win unless you are prepared to do what ever it takes
to win in politics......pure and simple.
case in poiint....Keystone pipeline.....destroyed thousands of jobs, hurt business, really hurt
local business that had geared up for the crews, look at families that had to uproot...
if Trump would have done that to a dem project....they would have had every single one of those
11000 people on the camera, they would have made sure every news outlet was up there interviewing
every business owner destroyed, every dem would have visited and that would have been on
TV and every single thing Trump talked about since would have been hedged against the results of
The dems live in the gutter, the republicans can not find it with a 10 foot pole......you cant win a fight
if you dont understand the rules and are prepared to fight as hard and the same way as your opponent.
Keystone Pipeline was a disgrace. Now that Michigan Gov. wants to shut down a line where the region gets 40% of their supply.
What you are cooking up here, you are missing the main ingredient and that is, of course, the enemy of the people. The bought and paid for by billionaires, arm of the Democratic/Communist party, State run Media and broadcast allies. Who without them and social media censorship, none of this would be possible.
well you can look at it that way............but then we are never going to win, because they are
never going to change.
I look at things that can and should be done to beat dems at their own game, you look for
excuses why we lose.
there is always a choice.
Don't take it from me. Take it from a real veteran of the News.
does not matter...it is an excuse....
You dont ever learn do you....you cant win a game you dont know how to play
What got me as seeing these state judges back away from these cases and the Party wimped out big-time.
Well you may have not yet seen the last of it.
You do not understand the game, where it's being played, who the players are. All you see is the scoreboard. Try watching the video and listening.
